Where Can You Get Laser Tag for Group Events in California?

Quick answer: California laser tag centers host much more than birthday parties. Depending on the facility, laser tag can work for school field trips, company team building, sports teams, churches, youth groups, scouts, camps, fundraisers and private events. In Southern California, Lazertag Extreme in Simi Valley combines laser tag, arcade games, Pixel interactive gaming, private rooms and onsite food for organized groups.

What Types of Groups Can Book Laser Tag?

• School field trips and enrichment groups

• Corporate team-building events

• Youth groups and churches

• Sports teams and end-of-season parties

• Scouts and clubs

• Summer camps

• Fundraisers

• Family reunions and large private events

The right format depends on the group. A school field trip may care most about capacity, supervision and a predictable schedule. A company may want private games and team competition. A youth group may need a simple per-person price and food options.

What Should You Ask Before Booking a Group Event?

• How many people can play at once?

• Can the arena or facility be private?

• How many games or how much play time is included?

• Are other attractions available between games?

• Is there a private room or meeting area?

• Can food be purchased onsite?

• Are there group rates?

• What ages and heights can participate?

• How does the venue handle groups larger than one laser tag session?

Why Laser Tag Works for Team Building

Laser tag gives a group a shared goal without requiring athletic skill. Players can communicate, defend positions, chase objectives and change strategies from one game to the next. That makes it useful for groups that want an activity rather than just a meal or meeting.

Different game modes can also change the experience. Some are simple individual score games while others reward teams for defending bases, capturing objectives or working together.

School and Youth Group Events

For schools and youth organizations, the biggest benefit is that laser tag is structured but still feels like free play. Groups can rotate between laser tag, arcade games, Pixel and food while staff keep the event moving.

Teachers and leaders should ask about chaperone expectations, participant limits, arrival procedures, waivers and whether the facility can accommodate the entire group at one time or in rotations.

Sports Teams and End-of-Season Parties

Sports teams already understand competition and teamwork, which makes laser tag a natural fit for an end-of-season party, team celebration or pre-season bonding event. It also gives athletes a chance to compete in a completely different environment.

Corporate Team Building

A company event does not have to mean a conference room. Laser tag gives coworkers something to talk about immediately and can help mix departments or teams that do not normally work together.

For corporate groups, ask whether private sessions, catering, meeting space and custom game formats are available.

Fundraisers and Community Events

Laser tag centers can also be useful for school, team and nonprofit fundraisers. The structure varies by venue: some offer a percentage of sales, some sell dedicated event packages and others provide private blocks that organizations can resell or promote to supporters.
